Why I test-print everything twice
One print proves the model works. The second proves it wasn't luck. My rule before anything gets listed in the shop.
Every model in the shop gets printed at least twice before it’s listed — once on my well-tuned printer, and once on the crustiest profile I keep around specifically to be difficult.
The first print tells you the model works. The second tells you it wasn’t luck. A surprising number of “fine” models fail the second pass: a bridge that only worked because of a fan setting, a tolerance that only fit because of one slicer’s compensation.
If you sell models, your customers are effectively the second printer. Better that you find out first.
